i dunno like it could be?? it makes sense too if max is still here, just not HERE here we just gotta open all the doors, and i gotta remember what happened
no damn itttt ok, let’s do this we can sweep the peninsula second time and i can tell the morgthing there’s a missing person if you didn’t do that and if you did we can make it more public we’re gonna find her ok?
[ it’s been a few days; max is back. maybe it’s been a week and . . . shoyo still doesn’t know what to say. he just knows it’s not a case of hiding. he just— has to brave through it and the consequences. and get through it. ]
[ however long a walk it is, he’s not as equipped to run or trek that amount with his satyr hooves. being a horse might . . . be faster? it feels like it could be fast, and easier—
but try as shoyo might to force out the foam to bring out the foal, he can’t. he doesn’t know the trigger other than fright, and he doesn’t know how he does it when he’s hungry.
a slow walk it was, but at least they had all night for it. shoyo prefers night activity these days anyway, and barely sleeps as much as he used to. he arrives at the great manor at one point and seeks out the backyard, keeping his eyes and swiveling ears open for any sign of max around that he’d very much like to avoid for the comfort of both parties at the moment.
he finds what he thinks could be the greenhouse, and hovers close to the windows to try and look inside, if he can. it’s easy to spot shoyo, at least. at night, he has bioluminescence. knock knock, maybe? ]

<daisy>
<FLY> (sometime pre-event)

<daisy>
It's okay, I found Max. She showed up, but she...
<FLY>
that's so not cool. that's so not fair. ]
she's a big moose monster
and i need to talk to you
like in person
how is she?
<daisy>
Did you want to come here? Or should I come to you? I don't...really want to leave her, but I don't think she'll be going anywhere for a while anyway.
<FLY>
is it ok if we talk alone tho?
<daisy>
My greenhouse is outside, in the backyard. We can talk there.
[It's not IN the house, which would draw attention to them both, but it's also still somewhere private and secluded from the rain.]
<FLY>
i’ll be there in a bit
